अपनी मर्ज़ी से कहाँ अपने सफर के हम हैं
रुख हवाओं का जिधर का है उधर के हम हैं
These lines from an old ghazal are very close to my heart. I have heard people talking a lot about destiny and karma. There are many articles on these topics floating on internet. But sometimes I question myself who must have discovered this? Whatever is happening with us and with the people around us, can we classify it under these two categories always? "No."
Very nice people who have never done anything wrong in their lives, suffer with diseases, financial losses, etc. Why are they facing all this? If its their 'Destiny', then my question is why such good people are destined to suffer? And if it is their 'Karma', then when did they made such faulty actions?
Some people also say that these are karmas from their previous lives due to which they suffer. But our holy books advice us to do good deeds only as we get the fruits of our karmas in this life itself
The fact is that no one has the exact answer to all these questions. We start believing whatever suits us as per the situation. And I am no different. I also tend to blame destiny or karma when something goes wrong. Actually, we all do this to shrug off our responsibility for the consequences of our actions. Doing this makes us feel innocent.
I think rather than focussing on these things, we should concentrate on Right Actions at the Right Time.
Live in your present and plan for your future....thats all we should do!!
Whatever it is, it is what a man weaves for himself...!
ReplyDelete'Right Action at the Right Time ' is actually important.
ReplyDeleteBut, the problem with most of us is, that the 'actions' we take at that 'time' seem so 'right', isn't it?
